Textures Atelier is a design Atelier specializing in custom-designed luxurious hand-crafted rugs. We collaborate with architects, designers, and clients to create personalized unique rugs in any palette, pattern, and dimension utilizing a wide range of innovative fine materials.
We create and exhibit products with imagination, beauty, and vision. Textures Atelier collaborates with an array of modern artists and artisans creating and discovering global treasures from around the world. Textures Atelier has its own sustainable textile product line, libellule. Our libellule collection is crafted from unique, global textiles from around the world, creating handmade, one-of-a-kind bags, quilts, and bespoke products.
Weaving stories of connection from artisan to client, we celebrate people’s unique stories through the creative collaboration of artisanal old-world craftsmanship and innovative modern design. Creating sustainable products with soul, beauty, and echoes of distant lands and times.

Paula Lajaunie Viscogliosi is the founder and creative director of Textures Atelier.
Textures Atelier has creative studio locations in New York City, Southampton, and Connecticut. Daniela Kronemeyer is our Director of Marketing and Communications.
ABOUT PAULA LAJAUNIE VISCOGLIOSI
Paula has over 25 years of experience in the design world. She opened her first design gallery in Soho in 1992 specializing in handwoven custom rugs.
She partnered with designers and architects and Diurne Rugs and their projects were widely published. She founded Textures Design Boutique in 2003 on the Upper East Side of Manhattan specializing in handwoven rugs, Interior Design, and sourcing hand-crafted unique objects from around the world.
Paula subsequently focused on the historic restoration and interior design of the Cheney mansions in CT. Paula directs events and retreats at the Silk House at Philip Cheney Mansion in Connecticut. www.philipcheneymansionct.com She has been a philanthropic leader in the CT area founding creative arts organizations and an entrepreneurship center. Paula is also actively involved with philanthropic organizations in New York City and the Hamptons.
